Club Record Bray for Harry

The nominated round today was a Bray I, although club members also shot a mixture of Portsmouth single and triple face rounds as well.

Harry managed a personal best and club record score on the Bray today scoring 267 out of 300.

Personal bests on the Bray for Steve, Mel and Paul. After just receiving his ‘F’ badge today, Paul shot his first ‘E’ score with 183. Mel scored exactly what he needed for his first ‘C’ score with 258. Well done.

It was nice to see Louise back scoring a Portsmouth with 493.

Shooting News 19th March

We had another set of personal bests this week from Alison scoring 470 on her barebow.

Harry improved on his 564 PB score (Gents U14) by shooting 568 (his second ‘C’ class score) which is also a new club record (Gents U16).

Mel also scored an impressive 516 on his recurve bow up from his previous best of 488. Mel now has 3 ‘D’ class scores, so has obtained his ‘D’ class badge in a very short time with us, well done.

Fenland Archery Portsmouth

Ian, Mike W. and Daniel travelled to Whittlesey on Saturday morning to shoot at the Fenland Archery Annual Portsmouth competition. Ian scored 540, Mike 521 and Daniel 514.

Today’s Vegas certainly paid dividends for Ian Chapman who broke his own club record on his recurve with a score of 522, this is also his first ‘C’ class score – well done Ian.

Ian Vegas 522

Joshua Chapman also scored a new club record with a score of 240 on his recurve (Gents U18).

Mel has now submitted his first 3 scores and has earnt his ‘E’ badge today. Although he has 2 ‘D’ class scores, so we are expecting 1 more for the ‘D’ badge in the coming weeks.
