23 archers shot on Sunday with most of us shooting at Portsmouth targets. Welcome Jack Kelly – our newest member who shoots compound. Well done to Malcolm for now obtaining his F badge with his barebow and to Joshua who has now obtained his G badge again, but now in the U18 category.

Club records broken over the last 2 weeks:

Archie has broken his own barebow Portsmouth record of 493 by shooting a 501 score (Gents U16 barebow)
Ronnie has broken her own compound Portsmouth (Triple Face) record of 535 by shooting a 544 (Ladies compound)
Mary has taken away Maggie’s barebow Portsmouth record of 487 by shooting a score of 496 (Ladies barebow)
Harry has beaten his own Portsmouth club record of 524 by shooting a 526 round (Gents U14 recurve)

Vegas was the nominated round today, and those three spots seemed very small from 18m. But, it didn’t stop Scott breaking Martin’s previous recurve record of 469 with Scott getting 491. This was Scott’s 3rd D score, so he has obtained his D badge. Keeping it in the family, Katelyn recorded her first recurve Portsmouth score on Friday night with a score of 410.

There were also Club Records for Harry and Louise with their Vegas scores of 422 and 372 respectively.

Archie shot a Portsmouth today with his Barebow and scored 471 which provided him with his 3rd E score. So Archie has obtained his E badge.

Finally, Ronnie shot a Bray today on her compound and she shot a 268 (which broke her own previous record of 263) this was Ronnie’s 3rd C score. So a C badge is coming your way. Well done Ronnie.

Recurve archers all shot Portsmouth rounds again today, with Paul and Ronnie shooting a Bray and Dennis shooting a triple face. 3 scores of note this week. Margaret scored a new club record shooting a standard Portsmouth with a score of 526 with her compound bow. Malcolm scored his second F score with his barebow scoring 323 and Ronnie shot her second C badge score with a Bray score of 261 on her compound.

Recurve archers all shot Portsmouth rounds again today, with Paul and Ronnie shooting a Bray. 4 scores of note this week David broke his previous Portsmouth barebow record of 510 by scoring 519 today. Malcolm scored 326 with his barebow which gives him his first F score, but also means he now has his G badge. Steve Frear scored 507 and Scott recorded his first score on Friday of 539 – 2 more like that guys and you’ll have your D badges.

First shoot of 2016 with most of shooting a Portsmouth today – Compounders shot Bray, with Ronnie obtaining a new Club Record with a score of 263. Record certificates are also on the way to Joshua (274), Harry (524) and Archie with an impressive 493 on his Barebow all of these were shot today.

There are also some badges to give out, Harry has obtained his D badge, and Maggie has obtained her D badge as well. Well done everyone.
