Living Sport's "Get Back Into" Campaign

Livingsport.co.uk

Living Sport is a County Sports partnership whose aim is to increase the number of people participating in sporting activities. They are running a campaign throughout 2008 called 'Get Back Into' and it is their aim to to help increase awareness of clubs and sports organisations in the local area and to help get adults back into sport.

Living Sport want to encourage people to get back into a sport that they used to do when they were younger, and also to encourage people who have never been part of a sports club or taken part in a physical activity to start.

Ely Archers are are pleased to be participating in this campaign by providing six archery 'taster' sessions in the main hall at Littleport Leisure Centre, Camel Road, Littleport on the following Monday evenings:

October 13th, 20th and 27th, and November 3rd, 10th and 24th. Each session will run for around two hours, and will commence from 7.30pm.

The sessions are free to the public, but you must be over 16 years of age to participate. 16-18 year olds must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to comply with our club rules.

If you are interested in participating in one or more of these sessions, please email getbackinto@elyarchers.org.uk for more information and we will be pleased to arrange for you to attend.

Once you have had a go at archery, we hope that you will want to continue with it, and if you complete four of the sessions successfully, you will have the opportunity to join Ely Archers and enjoy shooting at the club regularly.
