Target Rounds

Rounds are split into two main categories: Imperial and Metric.  

The Imperial rounds are traditional English rounds and generally named after a town or city.  The distances shot are all in yards and use a large 122cm target face.  Scoring is "5 zone" which means Gold scores 9 points, Red scores 7, Blue scores 5, Black scores 3 and White scores 1 point.  

Metric rounds are defined by FITA, our sports global governing body.  As the name suggests, the distances shot are all in metres.  They use the large 122cm face and also a slightly smaller 80cm face for some of the short distances.  Scoring is "10 zone" which means the inner Gold scores 10 points, outer Gold scores 9, inner Red scores 8, outer Red scores 7 and so on.
